The course aims to aware candidates about BTS, Node-B & MW site installation, commissioning, integration & testing and provide them depth knowledge of complete cell site and GSM, 3G & MW Technology.
Course Overview :
This training program is designed to give comprehensive overview of Communication system, GSM system, 3G system & CDMA system to the candidates. On the later modules, program is entering into the totally practical approach of Telecommunication industry with giving the brief ideas of telecom terminologies and equipments used at cell site. After completion of training, candidates will familiarize with various RF Segment such as RF survey, Civil work, Installation and Commissioning, AT, Quality Audit, Health and safety precaution etc. Telecom management solutions and the grooming sessions of the training program, enhances the capability of the candidates for getting easy approach for management level. The course ends with the practical in lab and practical at on site exposure so that candidates will get live on-site working experience.
Course Contents : Module-A : Introduction to communication History of communication, What is GSM, Evolution of GSM, Fundamentals of GSM, GSM Architecture, Understanding GSM channels, Call flow in GSM system, Radio interface, advantages of GSM, GSM traffic management, GSM transmission, GSM 900/1800/1900, What is CDMA, Evolution of CDMA, spread spectrum techniques, CDMA system architecture.
Module-C : About the Indoor Equipments
Introduction-classification-Working Principle-Manufacturer of Roxtec, Cable tray (indoor-HCT),Servo-stabilizer, Power Interface Unit, Power Plant, Air-conditioner, Battery Bank, Alarm panel, ACDB, DCDB, DDF, IGB, Transmission Rack etc.
Module-D : Introduction to MW Communication system
Introduction of Microwave, MW Frequencies Band, Propagation Used, LOS Principle, Fundamental of LOS survey, Why we used MW communication system in GSM Network, Basic Design of MW Antenna, Different Parts used in MW Antenna, Block Diagram of MW communication System, E1's Fundamental, E1 Capacity of MW communication system, Different Types of MW communication system, Data required to install & Align MW Antenna, Installation Process, Alignment Process, Terminology used in MW communication system etc.
Module-E : Introduction to Fundamental BTS
Introduction to BTS, Fundamental Block diagram of BTS, Different cards/module of BTS, Functionality of each cards/module in BTS, Fundamentals of Diversity Technique, Sectorization in BTS, Career configuration in BTS, Alarms of BTS, Terminology used in BTS etc.
Module-F : Tools & Test Equipments Used for BTS/MW I&C
Introduction-Specification & Used of Tools (Spanners, Screw Drivers, Hammers, Cutters, Crimping Tools, Knife, Hack Saws, Drill Machine, Soldering iron, Tilt Meter, Compass, RF Cutter, Sprit Level, Allen Key, Rope, Pulley etc.), Test Equipments (Laptop, Power Meter, VSWR Meter, Site Analyzer etc.) Health & Safety Tools (Helmet, Safety Belt, Gloves, Boot, First Aid Box etc.).
Module-G : I &C of BTS/MW and Associated Equipments
RFI Survey and report Generation, Preparation of Material Requisition Note (MRN), Finalization of tool kit according to work, Selection of Team according to work, Verify List of materials used at sites, Unpacking of materials, Initial reporting from site, Installation process, Finalization of Installation, VSWR measurement of RF cable, Commissioning of MW, Alignment of MW, BTS commissioning, Integration of cell site, Alarm Testing, Call Testing, Call Handover Testing, Preparation of Site Documentation, Punch points check & Quality Check etc.
Module-H : I&C of Node-B for 3G Networks
RFI Survey and report Generation, Preparation of Material Requisition Note (MRN), Finalization of tool kit according to work, Selection of Team according to work, Verify List of materials used at sites, Unpacking of materials, Initial reporting from site, Installation process, Finalization of Installation, VSWR measurement of RF cable, Commissioning of (SDH) MW, Alignment of (SDH) MW, Node-B commissioning, Integration of Node-B site, Alarm Testing, reparation of Site Documentation, Punch points check & Quality Check etc.
By the end of this course candidates will be able to : ◊ Talk about cell sites and GSM, 3G & MW Technologies. ◊ Handle equipments used at cell site. ◊ Understand functionality of BTS, Node-B as well as MW. ◊ Understand functionality of Battery Bank & Power Plant etc used at sites. ◊ Install-commission and align MW link by himself. ◊ Install, commission and Integrate BTS Sites. ◊ Install, commission and Integrate Node-B Sites. ◊ Check site Installation as well as commissioning quality. ◊ Manage installation as well as commissioning team and make documents for the sites.
